Mandira is an award-winning filmmaker based in Mumbai, India. She has written, directed, produced and edited short films, web content and feature films. Her films have screened at and won multiple awards at film festivals around the world. Her work ranges from a topical award-winning short film currently streaming on Amazon Prime, a musical web comedy about a young woman following her Broadway dreams in New York City, to micro shorts that deftly combine horror setups with a comedic twist.
Mandira worked in New York City as a film director and producer for several years before moving back to her hometown, Mumbai.
She has been a movie buff since childhood with her favorite genres being sci-fi and horror. Her favorite place to be is on a movie set or at a movie theatre.
